Marcus Stoinis was born on August 16, 1989 (age 30 Years) in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. His father name is Chris Stoinis and mother name is not known. He has a sister named Natasa.

Marcus Stoins Career:
Stoinis has played for Western Australia Cricket Team in both U-17 and U-19 level. He also featured in Australian U-19 cricket team that participated in the 2008 ICC U-19 World Cup held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
At the age of 19, Stoinis made his List A debut for Western Australia against Queensland at Brisbane in the Ford Ranger Cup 2008-09. On January 30, 2009, in the Sheffield Shield tournament, Stoinis made his first-class debut for Western Australia against Queensland at Brisbane. However, he didn’t get many chances and decided to move to Victoria where he has been a regular fixture since then.
In December 2012, he was selected in the Perth Scorchers squad as a replacement for injured Mitchell Marsh in the Big Bash League 2012-13.
Stoinis represented Northcote in the Victorian Premier Cricket League and enjoyed phenomenal success in the 2013-14 season. He smashed four centuries and ended up the season with a tremendous average of 100.
Later, he was selected in Victoria’s Sheffield Shield Squad ahead of the 2014-15 season. Stoinis didn’t disappoint the selectors and rewarded them with an outstanding 170 against Tasmania. With that innings against Tasmania, he cemented his place in the Victorian top-order. Stoinis, who plundered 785 runs that he played at an average of 49.06 in the 2014-15 Sheffield Shield competition, was the leading run-getter for Victoria.
In February 2015, Stoinis was bought by Delhi Daredevils for the 2015 Indian Premier League. He made his ODI and T20I debut against England in August-September 2015.
In 2016, he was signed by the Kings XI Punjab and retained him in the 2018 IPL auction for a whopping price of Rs. 6.2 crore.
In his second ODI match, Stoinis scored an unbeaten 146 and took three wickets against New Zealand as it was a highest ODI score ever for a batsman while batting at number 7. Though Australia lost the game by just 6 runs and he was named the Man of the Match.
Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Marcus Stoinis during the trade with Kings XI Punjab in 2018 by trading Mandeep Singh ahead of the IPL 2019.
Marcus Stoinis has played along with David Warner, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and many more in international cricket. He represents Melbourne Stars in BBL and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. He has also played along with Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, Yuzvendra Chahal and others in IPL.
